1. Getting a Number from Information 向查号台查询电话号码
1). Could you tell me the telephone number of the(Holiday Inn)? 请问(假日酒店)的电话号码是多少?
2). Would you please give me the telephone number of (Zhongshan University)? 请问(中山大学)的电话号码是多少?
2. Asking an Operator to put you through to an extension 请总机转电话
1). A: Operator，I’d like to make a call to (professor Wang)? 接线员，我想和(王教授)通电话。
B: Hold the line a minute. 稍等。
2). A: Central，please put me through to Extension(1212). 总机，请接(1212)分机。
B: Sorry，the line is busy. 对不起，电话占线。
3). A: Hello, could you get me extension 6338, please? 你好，请帮我接6338分机。
B: Hold On. I’ll connect you. 等一下，我帮你接通。
3. Making Personal Calls 打私人电话
1). A: Hello, this is May, can I speak to(John)? 你好，我是梅，能请(约翰)接电话吗？

4. Making Business Calls 打商务电话
1).A: Good morning, this is (the Sales Department). 早上好，这里是(销售部).
B: Good morning. May I speak to (Mr. Smith)? 早上好。我可以和(史密斯先生)通电话吗?
2).A: Would you wait a minute, please? (Mr. Smith), it’s for you. 请稍等。(史密斯先生)，你的电话。
B:Hello，May I speak to (Dr.Green). 您好，请问(格林医生)在吗?
3). A: Who is calling please? 请问你是哪位?
B: (Tom), his (patient). 我叫(汤姆)，是他的(病人)。
A: Could you call back later? He’s not in. 迟点打来好吗?他现在不在。
4). A: Could you put me through to (the president), please? 能否帮我接通(总裁)的电话?
B: I’m afraid he is not available right now. May I take a message? 恐怕他现在没时间。你需要留言吗? |
